Internship Details

  • Focus Area Tax compliance, preparation & completion
  • Location(s) Tysons Corner, VA
  • Paid/Hourly
  • Internship will start on or around Wednesday, January 14th and will end on or around Friday, April 17th 2026
  • 20-29 hours per week (average is 25 hours per week)
  • Flexible work hours- we work with your school schedule
  • ** Remote Internships are not currently available; this position requires in-office presence to our office located at 1951 Kidwell Drive, Suite 200, Tysons Corner, VA 22182**
  • Mentorship opportunities with Firm's Partners, Managing Partners & Executive Leadership Team
  • Company sponsored webinars & access to Company's Learning Management System for ongoing professional development & training
  • Eligible interns meeting the minimum education requirements for FT Associate level will be considered for FT Associate opportunities
  • Tax Season Interns are eligible for Summer 2026 ongoing Internship opportunities
    • Tax Season Interns are welcome to join our Assurance teams to gain additional experience and exposure if there are opportunities available
  • CPA Program eligibility
    • Access to Company sponsored CPA Programs & Resources to assist those who are eligible or who will become eligible for CPA exam
  • Equipment will be provided
  • Support in tax compliance preparation and completion
  • Support in preparing/reviewing corporate tax calculations that are accurate and comply with all legal requirements
  • Become knowledgeable about all the computer software used in the tax department
  • Gain an understanding of Firm policies, procedures, and professional standards through observation, inquiry, and adherence to them
  • Demonstrate positive attitude towards Firm and profession
  • Develop initiative, interpersonal skills, and practical application of technical knowledge
  • Performance of other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor and other Firm management as required
  • Confidentiality of Firm and client information is critical

Intern candidates must meet the following criteria for eligibility

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university working toward a degree in Accounting
  • A strong interest in beginning a career in public accounting upon receiving your undergraduate degree
  • Able to work part-time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week from mid-January to mid-April
  • Desire to work closely with engagement teams to provide exceptional service to clients
  • Good analytical skills and enjoy working with numbers
  • Strong organizational, time management skills and effective communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
  • Enthusiastic, demonstrate “can do” and “team working” attitude with an ability to learn quickly
