Senior Commissioning Manager

This person will be a seasoned leader and ensures that their mission-critical facilities are built and handed over with perfection. Key Requirements & What You'll Be Doing: 

• Deep Electrical Expertise: You must have a strong, demonstrable electrical background in the data center or critical power space (e.g., switchgear, UPS systems, generators, PDU/RPP, VFDs). 

• Hyper-Scale Experience is a MUST: Proven experience managing the commissioning process (Levels 1-5) for large-scale, hyper-data center projects (multi-megawatt capacity, thousands of racks). 

• Team Leadership: You'll manage and mentor internal and external commissioning teams, driving the schedule, budget, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client, general contractor, engineering teams, and facility operations staff. 

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve technical, schedule, or quality issues during the testing and start-up phases to ensure a smooth transition to operations. 

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all commissioning activities adhere strictly to safety protocols and local/federal codes. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

• 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a Commissioning Management role for large, complex projects. 

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 

• Expert-level knowledge of data center critical power path and cooling systems. 

• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, BICSI). 

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
