What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Engineer position at Praesidium Professional Group?
Job Summary:
The Plumbing Engineer will engage in all phases of a project from inception to completion of construction. This involvement is intended to grow individuals and nurture design talents.
In this role, you will:
- Design plumbing systems including Healthcare/Life Sciences/Multifamily.
- Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications of plumbing systems and topographical maps.
- Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for discipline with clients.
- Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment.
- Develop calculations for plumbing systems and associated controls.
- Perform QA/QC of design work.
You will be a great fit if:
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- You have thorough knowledge of plumbing design and corresponding terminology.
- You have experience with laboratories/medical facilities design.
- You have an excellent work ethic and attitude.
Skills/abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office
- Ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects
- Excellent ability to read, interpret and implement plumbing design documentation.
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
Location: Can be located in either Corona, CA, Irvine, CA or Phoenix, AZ
Work Model: Hybrid ( 3 days remote, 2 days on-site)
Salary: $90,000-$110,000 DOE
