Network Engineer, Junior (TS Clearance)

Praescient Analytics has an immediate opening for a Network Engineer, Junior to support a DoD contract in Arlington, VA. As a Network Engineer you need experience in the following:

Responsibilities:

Design and create the IT infrastructure of projects to optimize quality of service, maximize availability, and eliminate failures. Support servers, data backups, infrastructure, and cloud migration activities. Perform maintenance, asset and inventory management, and configuration management. Provide technical expertise in low visibility network operations and secure communications strategies. Provide direct and remote mobile technology support to create and sustain project architecture with mobile and wireless capabilities that enable organizations to operate at a minimum with multiple mobile platforms (e.g., Android and Windows).

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:

• Active TS/SCI or higher clearance (Must Have)
• Candidates must have either a Bachelor's Degree or higher and 2 years of applicable engineering experience or a High School Diploma and 5 years of applicable engineering experience.
• Experience with installation and configuration of physical networking equipment and Local Area Networks (LANs)
• Experience with cloud networking, especially Microsoft Azure cloud (vNETs, Azure Express Route, Azure Firewall, etc)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and risk management
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in network infrastructure
