Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse data sources
- Integrate data from legacy systems, modern databases, and data lakes
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Support data orchestration, versioning, and CI/CD processes
- Collaborate with application, analytics, and AI teams
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met
- 5 years of experience in data engineering or backend data systems
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala
- Experience with tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, dbt, Kafka, Databricks, or Flink
- Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- US Citizenship and the ability to undergo an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).
- Experience with real-time or streaming data processing
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance practices
- Experience supporting analytics or machine learning teams
