Position Description:
- Perform advanced bronchoscopy procedures including EBUS-TBNA, navigational bronchoscopy, ION robotic bronchoscopy, and cryobiopsy for the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer and other pulmonary diseases.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, radiology, pathology, and pulmonary medicine to optimize patient care pathways
- Support inpatient consult services for complex pulmonary cases requiring interventional evaluation or urgent procedural management.
- Expand advanced lung cancer screening, incidental nodule programs, and rapid-access diagnostic pathways.
- Provide outpatient clinic services for longitudinal management of airway disorders, pleural conditions, and post-procedure follow-up.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives focused on outcomes, safety, efficiency, and patient experience within the interventional pulmonary service line.
- Opportunities to participate in clinical trials, device innovation, thoracic oncology research, and teaching of residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.
- Assist in the growth and strategic development of the Interventional Pulmonary Program, including community outreach and education for referring physicians.
