What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatrics Physician Job with The Children's Doctor in Hagerstown, MD position at PracticeLink?
The Children’s Doctor provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults from birth through 21 years of age. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care that supports every stage of growth and development.
Our practice offers a wide range of general and specialized pediatric services, including adolescent gynecology, ADHD and associated behavioral concerns, asthma and related allergic conditions, and autism spectrum disorders as well as other developmental challenges.
We maintain an on-site CLIA-approved laboratory where point-of-care testing can be performed for strep infections, influenza, RSV, skin fungal infections, mononucleosis, and routine urine screening. We also provide spirometry to diagnose asthma and assess treatment effectiveness, and tympanometry to evaluate middle-ear function and monitor ear infection treatment.
Our clinicians perform a variety of minor surgical procedures in the office, including suturing of minor lacerations, surgical excision of ingrown toenails, incision and drainage of boils, removal of skin growths and foreign bodies, and cryotherapy for wart treatment.
For children with complex or highly specialized medical needs, we work closely with an extensive network of pediatric specialists both locally and at tertiary care centers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
