The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician’s associate to join our Pain Management team at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC), an award-winning Level II Trauma Center. With over 30 medical specialties, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Working in collaboration with our pain management physician and two nurse practitioners you will work very closely with the hospitalists and anesthesiologists on our medical center campus. Responsibilities include: completing comprehensive histories and physical exams; ordering and interpreting tests; prescribing medications; developing treatment plans; and educating patients/families on treatment options, independently manage epidural and peripheral nerve catheters; assist with wound care and dressing changes.
Work Schedule: Full Time Monday through Friday; 8-hour day shifts – variable hours; no evenings, weekends or on-call required.
