Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT), in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its General Orthopedics team. This position supports a well-established academic orthopedic practice and provides outpatient-focused care across multiple clinic locations. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons, residents, and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based musculoskeletal care.

Position Summary

This role is well-suited for a motivated provider interested in practicing within an academic medical environment while maintaining a predictable weekday schedule.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate and manage patients with general orthopedic and MSK conditions
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care for orthopedic patients
- Perform orthopedic-focused examinations, injections, and minor procedures as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide patient education and coordinate follow-up care
- Practice across designated BUMCT outpatient clinic locations
- Current, unrestricted Arizona Physician Assistant license or ACNP w/RNFA certificate
- Current BLS and CPR certification
- Active DEA registration and prescribing privileges
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based academic setting
- Orthopedic or musculoskeletal experience preferred
- Ultrasound experience preferred
- Highly qualified new graduates with a demonstrated interest in orthopedics are encouraged to apply
- Full Time
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No call. No weekends.
