Lexington Surgery is seeking an experienced board-certified Surgical Oncologist to join our team of general, surgical oncology, colorectal, bariatric, and reconstructive plastic surgeons. Lexington Surgery is an employed group within the Lexington Health network of care.
Position Details:
In addition to a clinical expansion, Lexington Health Cancer Center expanded to meet the needs of patients in a new medical oncology facility that encompasses 60,000 square feet and includes infusion, outpatient pharmacy, imaging, and ancillary patient-directed services, such as our navigation services and Cancer Registry. Additionally, Lexington Health Cancer Center has a Radiation Oncology suite, which is 20,000 square feet of clinical space, and has three linear accelerators.
Lexington Health Cancer Center has also partnered with Duke Cancer Network to provide patients access to Duke’s Cancer services and continue to ensure they receive high-quality and comprehensive care.
Lexington Health’s Oncology program has been awarded by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, the Cancer Center of Excellence, and is 1 of only 5 hospitals in the state of South Carolina, and the only hospital in the midlands to be Quality Oncology Practice Initiative certified. Position Details:
- Complex Surgical Oncology: hepatobiliary, soft tissue, and breast
- Provide surgical services for patients in the community, to include our established breast cancer program and high-risk breast clinic
- Acute Care Surgery Service provides call coverage—no emergent call responsibilities
