Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant PA), Oncology is a member of a collaborative team who is responsible for providing care to a diverse population of patients seeking oncology services.
- The APP Oncology will perform a variety of functions including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention within their scope of practice.
- Performs ongoing communication and works to promote quality of care through collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other care team members, patients and families.
- The APP Oncology demonstrates service excellence and accountability through recognizing the direct relationship between cost-effective and efficient provision of care and services including the impact of access to care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
- Licensure / Certification:
- American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics
- Illinois Registered Nurse License, and an Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse License, or an Illinois Physician Assistant License
- Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
- Experience: Oncology Experience
- Licensure/ Certification: Oncology Nursing Certification
Salary : $60 - $68
