Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician, MD/DO | Full-Time | Location: Renton, WA

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician (1.0 FTE) to join our established, collaborative and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based.

About the position:

  • General Schedule: 5-day work week
  • Limited Call
  • Develop and grow a new MFM service line within a well-established women's health clinic
  • Provide consultative and co-management services for high-risk pregnancies
  • Perform prenatal diagnostic procedures, including detailed ultrasounds and amniocentesis
  • Perform surgical procedures, cerclage placements, D&E
  • Interpret and oversee fetal testing (NSTs, BPPs, Doppler studies)
  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, clinical geneticist, and other specialists
  • Dedicated MA support
  • Support staff: RN triage/advice, obstetrical ultrasonographers, and dedicated surgery schedulers
  • Practitioners: physicians, Laborists, PAs, ARNPs, CNMs as well as family medicine residents
  • Referral to Lactation consultants in the hospital

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of MFM fellowship
  • Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

Compensation Range: $450,000 - $550,000

Employees also earn 20 to 25 days of vacation leave per calendar year based on position and years of service.
