Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary up to $675,000 with added performance-based bonuses.
- $50,000 sign-on bonus.
- Relocation assistance up to $15,000.

The Hematology/Oncology physician will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care to a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to patient care, excellence, and collaboration. The physician will be supported by a team of dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care to both inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of hematologic disorders and solid tumors.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including dedicated APPs.
- Participate in a shared weekend call schedule.
- Provide occasional coverage at satellite clinic locations.
- Participate in tumor boards and conferences.
- Contribute to the growth of the Hematology/Oncology program.
- Opportunity to teach medical students and residents from Central Michigan University.
- Participate in clinical research trials.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, including collaborating with APPs.
- Interest in teaching and research is a plus.
- H1-B visa candidates will be considered (J1 candidates not accepted).
