How You'll Make An Impact In This Role
Step into a high-impact breast surgery role offering advanced robotics, academic engagement, and the opportunity to shape care within a mission-driven health system.
- Join an established team of 2 physicians and 1 APP
- Practice setting: St Agnes Hospital and local ambulatory sites
- Access to single-port robotics; robust plastic & reconstructive surgery services; a high-volume cancer center; and teaching opportunities with surgical residents and medical students
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Lead a comprehensive breast surgery practice by providing expert outpatient consultations and inpatient surgical procedures, ensuring a seamless, compassionate care journey from diagnosis through recovery
- Drive clinical excellence and innovation by collaborating with The Cancer Institute on complex cases and actively participating in peer-review and quality initiatives to maintain the highest standards of patient safety.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgery
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Training in single port nipple sparing mastectomy is highly preferred
- 251-bed hospital and local multi-specialty medical centers
- 2nd oldest surgical residency in the country
- Trauma designation: Level III

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
