- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging) to guide treatment plans.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as needed in emergency situations.
- Provide clear, concise documentation of patient care in compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists and primary care physicians, for ongoing patient care.
- Adhere to all medical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and critical thinking in emergency situations.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Current and valid state medical license.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
