TeamHealth is seeking a quality-drivennurse practitionerorphysician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Syracuse, New York. This is a full-time opportunity (5 days/week)rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellentsupport and training, autonomy, and earning potential.Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $140,068 to $160,000 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

The medical practice is part of TeamACO, a dedicated long-term Accountable Care Organization participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program for our clinicians, which could result in you receiving a portion of the shared savings if certain criteria are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Cardiac consulting and follow-up care to patients in skilled nursing facilities
- Analyze pathophysiology for cardiovascular disease processes
- Interpret stress and EKG tests
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Manage patients with cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers
- Current NP or PA New Yorklicense and DEA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiology as advanced practice clinician
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
- No after-hours or weekend call with post-acute cardiology positions
