What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAINTER - INDUSTRIAL position at PRAB, Inc.?
The Painter position is responsible for the final quality check prior to the application of paint, maintain inventory levels on all standard paints and supplies, and must have the skill-set to apply high quality painted surface on all KMC Global product lines. The high quality painted surface must be achieved when using enamel, epoxy, or on occasion polane and water based paints.
Qualifications

- Familiar with lifting devises to achieve safe handling of equipment to and from the paint area.
- Familiar with operation, cleaning, and maintenance of painting equipment.
- Familiar with equipment to recognize when all components have been painted.
Responsibilities:
- Promote excellence throughout the department.
- Conduct themselves in a safe manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Plan their workload to maximize efficiency while keeping with production schedules.
- Read, write and follow manufacturers recommended mixing and application instructions.
- Work independently with only simple verbal instructions.
- Others as assigned by supervision.
- The employee will supply all basic tools required to perform the responsibilities listed.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Salary : $40,442 - $65,078
