Job Description Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer - Processor position is responsible for determining best manufacturing practices for new equipment and parts orders. This role works with Engineering, Pre-fabrication, and Fabrication departments to ensure smooth workflow and that best practices are followed. The role is also responsible for identifying areas of improvement, assisting in product improvement, and ensuring cost-effective methods. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications
- Dedication to excellence and a quality output
- Minimum of an Associates degree in Manufacturing Technology or Mechanical or Design Engineering.
- Two-years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience using 3D and 2D CAD software
- Strong Inventor skill set
- General understanding of manufacturing principles and procedures (Knowledge of Welding, Laser Cutting and Press Brake Forming equipment preferred)
- General math skills
- Strong analytical thinker
- Keyboard speed and proficiency
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Promote excellence throughout the department
- Determine best manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvements
- Maintain standard manufacturing practices for repeatable work
- Creating manufacturing routings in the ERP and detail drawings for equipment orders and spare parts orders by following best manufacturing practices
- Process equipment orders and spare parts orders by following best manufacturing practices
- Research and develop new processes, assist with new equipment and product development
- Develop detailed layouts for shop floor production based on manufacturing processes and requirements
- Good communication skills working with sales, engineering, customer service, vendors, and shop personnel
- Assist shop management with process layout changes
- Assist in annual physical inventory
- Other responsibilities as required
