What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time QuickBooks Bookkeeper position at PQS Mission Critical?
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks along with light administrative and filing tasks. This role may be performed in-office (preferred) or hybrid depending on availability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update records in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
- Enter and categorize transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Manage accounts payable / receivable (basic level)
- Organize receipts, invoices, and financial documents
- Perform light filing (physical and/or digital)
- Assist with general recordkeeping and organization
Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks (required)
- Prior bookkeeping experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable handling confidential information
Preferred
- Experience with small business bookkeeping
- Willingness to work on-site periodically
- Basic administrative / office support experience
Compensation
- $30–$40/hour (based on experience)
