Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Demonstrate product features through engaging demos to educate customers and boost sales
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling additional items to enhance their purchase
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the store is well-organized and inviting
- Maintain proper inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities
- Provide clear communication with customers via phone etiquette, answering questions and offering assistance promptly
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for transactions
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Knowledge of grocery store operations and retail math principles to handle cash handling accurately
