Pump Truck Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pump Truck Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized pump trucks used in concrete pouring and other civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure efficient material placement, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality results on each project site. Responsibilities

• Operate pump trucks for concrete pumping with precision and safety compliance
• Maintain and perform routine inspections on construction machinery.
• Assist with the setup and operation of paving equipment such as screeds and post tension installation tools to ensure smooth project flow
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols related to heavy equipment operation, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and construction site safety standards
• Support concrete finishing tasks by coordinating with crew members for proper placement and curing of concrete materials
• Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, material quantities, and equipment calibration to ensure accuracy in operations
• Perform minor repairs or maintenance on equipment as needed to minimize downtime and maximize productivity

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as pump trucks, excavators, loaders, or dump trucks in civil infrastructure projects
• Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
• Familiarity with asphalt paving, concrete pouring, screeds, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques
• Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites with a focus on civil infrastructure projects involving paving and concrete work
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and equipment calibration purposes

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
