What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Welder position at PPS-HPS?
Nearly 40 years and still growing, this safety minded, fast growing provider of high-quality custom welding, fabrication, and maintenance solutions, is currently seeking multiple experienced Shop Welders to join the team.
[Duties]
- Fabricating, laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring, and welding metals from blueprints to create the desired shape or object
- Welding regular grade steel (MIG)
- Welding aluminum/stainless (TIG)
[Requirements]
- Must pass MIG welding test
- 2 years of experience welding in a job shop environment
- Positive Work Ethic, Safety minded, and Reliable Attendance
[Details ]
- $25-$30 an hour (depending on experience)
- Monday thru Friday 7:00am-3:30pm; half hour lunch
- Must pass drug test
