What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk II position at PPS-HPS?
PPS is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for our semiconductor servicing industry facility in Hayward. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive starting pay rate, second-to-none benefits, and a high ceiling for growth!
Responsibilities:
- Performs visual transactions relative to shipments.·
- Coordinates and assists with loading of shipments.·
- Prepares dispatch logs for drivers with routes, drops and pickups, etc.·
- Maintains communications with drivers during the day and making routing updates as necessary
- Prepares commercial bills of lading.·
- Prepares IBSS paperwork.·
- Ensures packaging specifications are followed per customer requirements.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Knowledgeable with automated system (FEDEX, UPS, DHL)·
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew members.·
- Knowledgeable in packaging and labeling material·
- Follows and understand Shipping Procedures·
- Certified to drive a forklift.·
- Ability to complete work assignment within the time allotted.·
- Maintain and cleans workstation /work environment.·
- Ability to read and understand written procedures.·
- Proficient in MS ExcelEducational/Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years Shipping Experience (preferred- previous exp shipping to Applied Materials)
- Ability to exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move object.
- Ability to Talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required
- May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computer etc.
