Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift (On-site | Full-Time | Painesville, OH)

Position Details:
Location: On-site in Painesville, OH
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Second Shift
Employment Type: Hourly
Responsibilities Include:
Interpreting blueprints, specs, and process documents to verify compliance
Conducting in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
Recording inspection results clearly and accurately
Collaborating with production and engineering to ensure product quality
Supporting quality audits, training, and customer return evaluations
Promoting and maintaining quality assurance standards throughout the production floor
Assisting with production duties when not performing inspections
Following safety and compliance protocols
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience inspecting small or intricate parts
Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, vision systems, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands
Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and depth perception
Must wear safety glasses in designated areas
Must pass post-offer physical exam
