What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Router Machinist position at PPS-HPS?
PPS is seeking an experienced CNC Router Machinist skilled in set-ups and operation to produce precision parts for our customers in the semiconductor, aerospace, defense, and other industries.
This is a full-time, permanent position in a NEW, air conditioned building with a highly competitive pay rate, second-to-none benefits, and room for advancement!
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow traveler instructions
- Operate large/twin table CNC router machines with twin spindles, working with plastic and/or metals
- Load and unload material and parts
- Measure and document inspection data
- Measure, document, maintain or improve on established production standards
- Read and interpret almost all blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notes
- Document counts
- Organize, clean, and maintain work area
- Complete discrepant tag information
- Communicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvements
- Perform All Set Ups
- Other functions as deemed appropriate
