What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator - Tube Bending - 3rd shift position at PPS-HPS?
We are seeking an experienced CNC Tube Bending Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC tube bending equipment while producing quality parts to customer specifications.
This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with equipment, tooling, blueprints, and precision measurements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position is on 3rd shift!
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC tube bending machines
- Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments
- Replace and rebuild mandrels as required
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating or setting up CNC tube bending equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Manufacturing experience required
- Experience with hydraulic, CNC, or automated equipment preferred
- Basic robotic experience is a plus
