What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly position at PPS-HPS?
PLANT LABOR - ASSEMBLY!1ST SHIFT. STARTING PAY $20.00. WE WILL TRAIN! You will perform all functions to unpackage, disassemble, and reassemble various component's to make up completed product. RESPONSIBILITIES:Safely unpackage and disassemble components. Safely clean up as you go along. Use various hand and power tools. Ensure tools and work areas are maintained and clear of hazards during the day and at the end of each shift.Material movement such as carrying and replacing parts.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 35-50 lbs.Accustomed to working in cold or hot environment. Manual dexterity and the ability to work in an industrial plant environment.Physically capable of handling workload for a sustained period of 8-10 hours per day.Indoor and outdoor work. Required to wear a hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves, and safety glasses while working in our plant and/or in the yard.
