PPS is seeking a mechanically inclined Assembly Technician / Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing partner in the Chardon area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has experience using basic hand tools, and is looking for a stable, long-term position.
What You'll Do:
- Operate a crimping machine to assemble manufactured components.
- Perform basic die changes using hand tools and wrenches.
- Make minor machine adjustments and assist with setups.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool experience.
- Manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new equipment and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous crimping experience is NOT required! We're looking for someone mechanically inclined, reliable, and interested in building a long-term career.
