Overview
As a Construction Supervsor you will leads and manage Rhode Island Energy Construction Management functions
throughout the lifecycle of a project. Responsible for ensuring projects are planned, designed, constructed, and
commissioned in a manner consistent with Rhode Island Energy specified policies and procedures.

Overview
As a Construction Supervsor you will leads and manage Rhode Island Energy Construction Management functions
throughout the lifecycle of a project. Responsible for ensuring projects are planned, designed, constructed, and
commissioned in a manner consistent with Rhode Island Energy specified policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for field leadership and oversight of all contracted construction work; ensuring safe completion
- Manages or self-performs activities and tasks to successfully contract out Rhode Island Energy work including
contractor crews, verifying material
- Participate in the review and award of construction proposals with Rhode Island Energy Sourcing;
Reviews and approves construction change orders for work not in scope, or changes to scope of work.
Participates in claims dispute and resolution sessions. Verifies contractor invoices, ensuring work invoiced

- Manages or self-performs constructability assessments during the conceptual design and engineering phase

- Reviews deliverables from the Siting, Real Estate, Permitting, Procurement, and Engineering groups to
- Work with project team to develop and implement corrective actions when safety, schedule, scope, or costs
- Ensures Rhode Island Energy contractors have approved work plans and fully understand the scope and
site assessments.
- Supervise and conduct contractor briefings.
- Ensure completeness and quality of construction workmanship before accepting the finished product,
- Provides regular project status, feedback, and critical path items to the Rhode Island Energy Construction
- Maintain working knowledge of industry construction best practices and applications at Rhode Island Energy.
- Ability to travel throughout the Rhode Island Energy service territory, this is a regional based

Required education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience on a year for year basis.
Required experience:
2 years in construction, operations or maintenance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, Project Management professional (PMP), or Certified Construction manager (CCM)
- Two years of experience as a construction or project manager in the power industry.
- Supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of critical-path-method scheduling tools and project budgets, and/or industry
