What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Planning Analyst position at PPG?
As the Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you will ensure end-to-end supply of photochromic dyes through demand planning, raw material coordination, inventory optimization, and production capacity planning. You will collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Customer Service to support production, customer delivery, and new product introductions.

Responsibilities
- Manage supply and production planning using SAP (MM/PP/APO/IBP)
- Optimize inventory, safety stock, and raw material supply
- Coordinate production capacity planning and scenario analysis
- Lead SIOP processes and supplier performance reviews
- Mitigate supply risks and improve supplier delivery performance
- Maintain accurate planning/master data (BOMs, lead times, etc.)
- Develop KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support digital transformation and advanced planning capabilities
- Ensure on-time customer delivery and operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- 5 years of planning or supply chain experience in manufacturing setting
- SAP/ERP experience (IBP preferred)
- Advanced analytical, Excel, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments
