What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Shader Technician position at PPG?
As a QC Shader Technician, you will provide a high level of accuracy in color shading for automotive paints. This is an onsite job in Cleveland, OH working on 3rd shift.

Main Responsibilities
- Data entry into color portal and quality database
- Customer communication
- Preparing pre-ship samples for customers
- Utilize color measurement instruments and software to ensure accurate color shading
- Shading in-process batches to meet customer specifications
- Facilitate batch approval process
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Must be proficient with in using color management instruments and software for color analysis
- and shading
- Familiarity with various color shading tools and techniques is required
