What are the responsibilities and job description for the DCS Customer Lead position at PPG?
As a DCS Customer Lead, you will be responsible to direct activity of exempt and non-exempt members of a team building products for an Auto OEM customer. You will be a member of a team with some direct and indirect management responsibilities.
The base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 10% of base salary. Key Responsibilities
- Work with customer technical and engineering organization.
- Project management responsibility for new color and new product launches
- Work within a team to schedule and prioritize work for their customer to ensure high quality and on time execution
- Support lab operations as a part of a mid-sized regional technical team
- Ensure on time customer deliverables in product approval process
- Work with PPG commercial team and product management to define priorities and implement account technology roadmap
- Application of root cause analysis and BPI tools to lead resolution of manufacturing and field issues.
- Bachelor's Science Degree in Chemistry or related Engineering or Science field with 5 or more years of experience in coatings
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 15%
