Key Responsibilities
- Foster positive, professional relationships across all levels.
- Develop work standards for productivity and line balancing.
- Increase machining processes for quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Implement manufacturing cost reductions for process improvement.
- Collaborate with Engineering to design machines, tools, and increase work flow.
- Manage projects for product improvement.
- Communicate Lean group's philosophy, vision, and expectations; provide employee training on lean concepts.
- Lead lean events to include value stream mapping exercises for business improvement.
- Collaborate with quality and engineering to resolve service-related issues.
- Align with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements; perform assigned tasks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering; OR HS Diploma/GED and equivalent work experience related to lean manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Minimum of a Green Belt preferred.
- Knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing concepts and application preferred.
