What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at PPG Industries, Inc.?
As the Maintenance Supervisor , you will create a safe work environment for employees and maintaining the reliability of the plant equipment and facilities through systemic preventative and corrective maintenance and by problem solving and correcting unplanned breakdowns. You will supervise the mechanical workforce and provide coaching for their growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, assign and oversee maintenance work assignments
- Lead team meetings and problem-solving efforts
- Performance coaching / counseling and serving as a resource for wage employees who service three functional areas defined as Facilities, Paint Production, and Resin Production.
- Track performance within the department by key metrics
- Comply with PPG and regulatory requirements including maintaining proper documentation
- Oversee outside contractors
