Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and empower adults with developmental disabilities to live fuller, more independent lives. In this hands-on role, you’ll teach essential life skills, support daily routines, assist with personal care, prepare meals, administer medications, and help create fun, meaningful activities in a home-like environment.
You’ll collaborate with families, coordinators, and medical professionals while keeping clear documentation and ensuring a safe, respectful, and uplifting living space. Whether driving residents to appointments or engaging them in community outings, you’ll be a vital part of their growth and well-being.
What You Bring:
- At least 3 months of relevant care or habilitation experience
- High school diploma/GED
- CPR/First Aid, Article 9, Fingerprint Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication, patience under pressure, and a heart for helping others
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stay active, and provide calm support during challenging moments
Bonus:
- If you’re 21 or older with a strong driving record, you may qualify to operate agency vehicles and support resident transportation needs.
