Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Quality Control & Technical Inspection
- Field Audits: Conduct quality inspections for substation and transmission line components using various precision tools and equipment.
- Blueprint Analysis: Review construction specifications and blueprints to prepare for inspections and ensure field work matches design.
- Project Synergy: Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and General Foremen to complete daily tasks and maintain project momentum.
- Pre-Construction Planning: Analyze upcoming project schedules to prepare for inspection needs during both the pre-construction and active phases.
- Issue Identification: Proactively identify potential quality risks through a detailed review of construction documents and site conditions.
- Safety & Hazard Recognition
- Zero-Accident Culture: Uphold safety as the company’s most important goal and support the mission of achieving zero accidents.
- Hazard Mitigation: Pre-plan and identify specific methods to eliminate hazards daily based on the work task at hand.
- Observation Skills: Develop the skill to observe the habits of others and professionally bring hazards to their attention.
- Open Dialogue: Promote communication between field and office regarding safety concerns, improvements, and PPE needs.
- Continuous Training: Obtain and maintain all safety certifications as expected by company leadership.

- Customer Relations: Demonstrate excellent professionalism and service when interacting with clients and utility owners.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Education/Licensure: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field OR a Journeyman License.
- Experience Level: This is an entry-level position. While technical experience in engineering or construction is a plus, it is not necessary.

- Physical Requirements
