What You'll Do
As a QA/QC Technician Lead, you will play a key role in supporting our quality systems and helping maintain the highest standards of product safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
- Conduct audits, inspections, and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Investigate and document non-conforming materials and assist with root cause analysis
- Perform laboratory testing, including heat seal testing, retained solvent testing, COF testing, barcode verification, and other quality evaluations
- Generate Certificates of Analysis and maintain quality records
- Train and support production employees on quality procedures and testing methods
- Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Process customer returns and support rework activities when needed
- Maintain quality hold areas, retain samples, supplier documentation, and laboratory equipment
- Partner with production teams to identify opportunities for improvement and reduce quality-related costs
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability throughout the facility
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools
- English required; bilingual Spanish is a plus
