Position Overview
This employee will play a key role in expanding our client base and growing revenue by proactively identifying and nurturing sales opportunities across our divisions. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for solution-based selling and a strong ability to build relationships over the phone and through digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to new and existing clients to promote our full suite of infrastructure and skilled trades services.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell services across multiple divisions (e.g., plumbing, electrical, mechanical, hydrovac, etc.).
- Qualify inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools and ensure regular follow-ups.
- Collaborate with service teams to craft tailored messaging and proposals.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales and activity targets.
- Continuously educate yourself on our service offerings, industry trends, and client needs.
- Support and collaborate with other sales employees, division managers, and dispatchers to ensure a seamless handoff and client experience.
Requirements
- 2 years of inside sales, account management, or business development experience (preferably in construction, skilled trades, or industrial services).
- Demonstrated ability to cross-sell and handle a diverse service offering.
- Highly self-motivated and goal-driven with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales within construction, infrastructure, or industrial services.
- Familiarity with skilled trades service offerings.
- Technical or trade background is a plus.
