What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Parts Specialist- Engine Parts Experience Required position at powertrain products inc?
We are seeking a parts professional with solid automotive experience that is a real self starter to head the opening of the parts department in our engine remanufacturing facility. This role will not be customer facing and the candidate will work directly with plant personal in all aspects of parts needs to aid in the efficient production of engines. This individual will be responsible for working with manufacturers directly, negotiating costs, maintaining proper inventory levels of parts needed in order to keep the plant operating at speed. This is a key role and will be filled by a parts person that can exercise the ability to not only be extremely proficient in the knowledge of automotive internal engine parts but also in forecasting, budgeting, negotiations, inventory control and overall a strong ability to work amongst a team to a common goal. We will consider candidates in similar manufacturing roles but in other industries with extensive experience.
