Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Drywall Foreman to join our team on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Drywall Foreman will supervise construction projects, coordinate team activities, and ensure projects are completed on time and within quality standards. The role involves overseeing the installation of drywall, inspecting work for compliance with specifications, managing material usage, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with workers, contractors, and clients while maintaining efficiency and productivity on-site.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership and the ability to manage project timelines effectively
- Experience operating heavy equipment and specialized tools commonly used in construction projects
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, contractors, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in carpentry and drywall installation, including the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and ensuring proper use and care of tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols on construction sites
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications in construction management preferred
