What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machinist Apprentice position at PowerSportsNation?
Power Sports Nation is looking for one individual with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to join our team as an automotive machinist apprentice. Prior machine shop experience is preferred, but we are searching for an individual with high mechanical aptitude and welding/fabrication experience. Starting at $15 per hour and growing to $20 per hour as skills and competencies are developed. Full time position with amazing hours (Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm Fri 8am-noon) 2-1/2 DAY WEEKENDS!!

Machinist Responsibilities:
- Bore and hone cylinders
- Operate Mill and Lathe
- Rebuild heads
- Rebuild crankshafts
- Fabrication(welding)
Machinist Requirements:
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to accurately read measuring devices
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Prior Powersport experience preferred
- Must have high mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to identify engine components
- Must be able to properly dispose of various chemicals
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to consistently work 45-hours a week

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
