JOB SUMMARY And MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The purpose of this position is to perform duties for the McIntosh Power Plant relating to the unloading, receipt, storage, issue, and delivery of materials, supplies, parts, components, and tools received by PowerSouth Energy and to record all transactions and maintain related records as directed. Candidate must be able to operate lift truck and obtain necessary qualifications/certifications and be trained in rigging. Candidate must be capable of unloading, receiving, storing, issuing and delivering materials. Candidates must have basic computer skills. Candidate also must be willing to report to work on an as needed basis and be familiar with plant layout and equipment.

Job Responsibilities
- Retrieves and issues materials in a safe, prompt, and efficient manner
- Receives and stores all materials delivered at the facility in a productive and cost-efficient manner, to include: entering data on issued items in computer; coordinating shipping of materials out of the warehouse; unloading and loading trucks; determining storage locations of materials
- Responsible for breaking down, returning, or retiring materials taken out of service by crews and other PowerSouth personnel; storing reusable materials
- Takes physical inventories on a regular basis, in accordance with company policy, to verify inventory records and correct discrepancies. Assists in an annual physical inventory of all materials in the stock accounts; performs spot checks as directed
- Performs various other duties as directed by the supervisor which include, but are not limited to, plant warehouse cleanup, delivery and pickup of materials, assisting with lift truck operations in the field
