Requirements Responsibilities:
Patient Coordinator Requirements
- 2 Years of experience working in the dental industry is a requirement*
- Experience with insurance verification and dental billing is a requirement*
- Superior customer service experience and skills
- Proactive nature with strong initiative
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Energetic and flexible
- Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
- Strong dental terminology
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced office.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients to the dental office
- Answer new patient phone calls and maintain a high conversion rate
- Verify dental insurance benefits
- Confirming appointments and help reduce last minute cancellations/no-shows
- Manage the patient schedule and book new patient appointments with a focus on efficiency
- Review financing options and payment plans to patient
- Understand and explain insurance benefits and financial options in non-clinical terms
- Manage the Accounts Receivable process for the practice, with a focus on ensuring a healthy collections ratio
- Management and submittal of patient claims to insurance companies
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments and preparing billing statements
- Assisting with running reporting from the practice management software for KPI performance and review
- Additional duties may be assigned

Monday:9- 5pm
Tuesday: 11- 5pm
Wednesday:9- 5pm
Thursday: 9- 5pm
