Concrete Floor Grinding Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with various grinding tools and techniques, and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on-site to grind and finish materials, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment to shape and finish materials according to project specifications.
• Read and to understand project requirements and ensure accuracy in grinding tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Perform concrete grinding, polishing, apply densifier work as needed during renovation and restoration projects.
• Conduct edging grinding to enhance the overall quality of finished products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites.
• Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines.
• Train helpers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in grinding or related construction roles is preferred.
• and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of concrete diamond is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment on construction sites.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $20.42 - $25.05 per hour
