JQOL is seeking a Project Inspector / RPR. The successful candidate will work with our inspection team
to ensure construction projects are built to not only design, specifications, and standards, but to the quality
that we can take pride in, and the project owners will remember.
Daily Tasks:
● Participate in various construction projects including new bridge construction and rehabilitation,
new road construction and rehabilitation, and traffic/pedestrian safety improvements.
● Assist design and survey departments between construction projects, providing opportunities to
learn new skills.
● Collaborate closely with the JQOL inspection team, contractors, inspection partners, and clients.
● Perform field inspections daily, evaluating work done by contractors.
● Conduct comprehensive construction inspection tasks, including:
● Generating daily reports● Reading plans● Calculating quantities● Reviewing erosion control measures● Reviewing maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans● Implementing testing procedures● Creating as-built drawings
Requirements
● 2 years experience
● Previous inspection experience in Indiana is preferred
● INDOT Certified Technician is preferred
● INDOT Material Testing Proficiencies is preferred
● Proficiency with Site Manager / CIP preferred
● Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
