Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Prepare supporting documentation for audits
- Support daily finance operations
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and communication skills
