Sales Associate

• Position Type: Full-Time / Commission
• Location: Dealership, Showroom, or Outdoor Equipment Store Floor
• Reports To: Floor Manager / Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Consultations: Greet showroom visitors, assess their property or recreational needs, and match them with the right powersports vehicles or lawn/garden equipment.
• Product Demonstrations: Explain technical specifications, safety features, warranties, and operational differences across various brands and models.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Handle the entire sales cycle from initial in-store inquiry or lead generation through closing, financing coordination, and delivery.
• Inventory & Floor Maintenance: Keep the showroom and outdoor lot clean, organized, tagged with accurate pricing, and stocked with current inventory.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with the Service and Finance departments to process trade-ins, accessories, part orders, and customer financing applications.
• Outreach & Events: Follow up with potential leads via phone/digital channels and represent the dealership at local outdoor shows, community events, or promotional sales.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education or technical sales training is a plus).
• Experience: 1 years of retail, automotive, powersports, or outdoor power equipment sales experience preferred.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn about small engines, lawnmowers (riding/push/zero-turn), tractors, ATVs, UTVs, and related parts.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal negotiation, active listening, and customer-first interpersonal skills.
• Technical Ability: Comfortable using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, basic computer applications, and digital tools like Facebook Marketplace or CRM leads.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
