Powermaster Electric, Inc is looking for a Project Superintendent/manager for its Fort Bragg operations. Most work is outdoor, involves power generation and misc. outdoor power pedestals and lighting and large feeders with duct bank.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Superintendent/Manager to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate complex electrical systems, ensure project success, and uphold safety standards on busy construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive electrical design and code knowledge, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
- Lead and manage all phases of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate project activities with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools to track progress and milestones
- Review blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Oversee construction site activities, including installation of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety protocols, quality standards, and progress updates
- Manage procurement processes using Construction estimating software like HeavyBid or ProCore or McCormicks to ensure timely material delivery
- Proven experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in construction management and site supervision
- Extensive knowledge of system design, blueprint reading, schematics, and NEC regulations
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Construction estimating software
- Hands-on electrical experience combined with construction site experience is essential
- Strong understanding of contracts, project scheduling, and construction management principles
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to lead teams confidently while maintaining safety standards and quality control
