Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash, vacuum, and detail new and used vehicles according to dealership standards.
- Perform interior and exterior cleaning, including upholstery, glass, wheels, and trim.
- Apply waxes, sealants, tire dressings, and interior protectants as required.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, showroom display, and service customers.
- Identify and report vehicle damage, wear, or reconditioning needs to Management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of wash bays, detail areas, tools, and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and dealership policies at all times.
- Assist with additional lot or vehicle-related duties as needed to support dealership operations.
Qualifications
- Prior automotive detailing or car wash experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- On-the-job training provided for qualified candidates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
What This Role Requires
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and move around vehicles safely.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Manual dexterity to operate cleaning tools, equipment, and detailing supplies.
