Janitor/Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
• Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
• Operate specialized equipment such as floor buffers and polishers for floor care and buffing tasks
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Perform custodial tasks such as window washing, carpet cleaning, and minor repairs as needed
• Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including painting touch-ups or minor repairs when required
• Ensure all work areas are kept organized and free of hazards

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, including commercial or industrial cleaning
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and sealing floors
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Ability to perform residential painting or light maintenance tasks is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily cleaning tasks effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour
